Board Information & Statistics

Board Description
The Graveyard
Far more morbid in name than nature, The Graveyard is nothing more than a beach where the bleached skeletal remains of a large humpback whale came to rest. The bones have been on the beach for as long as anyone can remember and, as such, several legends have sprouted from its empty jaws. It is a common practice among the natives to bring their first-born colts to The Graveyard to test their bravery and courage in the face of a foreign foe. Colts who successfully stayed the night in the belly of the whale were considered fit to be warriors. Although some still carry on the practice, nowadays the bones of the paikea are used for more recreational purposes.
