"Risk Speech" Risk Thoughts Text
Risquè looked out across the sea, pausing besides the most complete whale skeleton. The sun was shining as bright as ever, and it brought summer along with very high temperatures. Risk's mane was plastered to his neck from the heat, and he bounded forward through the bones and running into the cool salty water, splashing up his hocks and legs. The water rose to his belly, lifting him off the ground and pushing him further out to see where he couldn't touch. He lifted his nose high so the water wouldn't splash in, that had happened to him one too many times. He slowed, only kicking to keep himself afloat as the waves lapped against his neck. He tossed his head, before sticking his nose in the water and going completely under. He rose back up, snorting to get rid of any water. He turned, kicking back towards line, swimming diagonally. The waves pushed him his last kick in before he pulled himself back out of the water, thousands of water droplets shimmering and running down his pelt before splashing to the soft sand below. . 191 Words

Lumière sighed, it hadn't been long since she last visited the island of Kahukura, her childhood developed mainly on the Mainland. Until she quickly decided life was boring over there. She swam over, when she had much strength in her legs. Just to arrive on the beaches a sick and tired mess. She'd been taught of nothing of the islander beliefs, and nor did she even want to. She had come to the islands for a sense of adventure, and sense of.... not whale bones. The bones had hoof marks coverings the inside of the carcass and the outside. Mostly they were those of young foals. Lumière shook her head, moving her forelock out of her eyes, so her eyes wouldn't be bothered by strays going into her eyes, and to be followed by blinking. Oh, my first islander. She said, watching a blue Stallion in the ocean. He had just gotten out of the ocean, water spraying onto the sand, making dark wet clumps. She offered nothing of a hello. If someone wished to talk to her, they could come to her to say so. At least they wouldn't talk to her if they didn't want to talk.
