Crane & Cap
Crane stepped lightly, circling the bones carefully. His newborn son trying to step into the Stallions large footprints. Crane was'nt amazed by how his son looked, the black stripes that decorated him didn't even faze him. In fact, he was proud. Turning to look at him, he nickered to him. Cap snorted, and ran forward, jumping up, and throwing his legs in the air. Crane chuckled; Seeing his son throw up his legs, only to grow tired within minutes, and come back to Crane's side, his little nostrils flaring. "Cap." Cap didn't respond, he simply stared at the white bones they had encountered. "Cap." The foal still didn't look. "Cap!" Cap looked over at Crane, tilting his head. "Listen to me when I say you're name." Cap turned away, and walked over to the bones, sniffing at them. Them he nibbled at them with his mouth. Crane rushed forward, pushing Cap away softly from his gnawing on the bones with his head. "Don't do that! These bones are precious!" Cap looked at him with a confused face, tilting his head again. Crane merely sighed. "You'll go on a vigil here when you're older, and you'll get your spirit guide." His son looked intrigued, and stared. "Oh, and now you're listening." Crane mumbled under his breath. "Now.. these bones." And Crane went into a long speech about vigils.

[style=width: 300px; height: 170px; overflow:auto; padding-right: 5px;] Shaylee, the second of the twins, had strayed away from her mother to search for ther father and brother, since she found it boring to be taught about the difference of warm and cold winds to fly on. Neither she or her brother had developed enough wings to be able to fly, yet she flapped those little apandages as she trotted towards her twin. She could hear them and followed that sound, neighing as she came closer and could see them. She was a really pale gold, almost white, with that creamy golden tint all over her. The legs were slightly darker, with leg barring, and along her spine she had a dorsal stripe, who left a little color on her otherwise almost white mane and tail, mostly at the roots of it. Her eyes was the color of teal, and you could faintly see the golden amber zebra stripes that covered her body, less appearent than her brothers black ones. Some pink small feather had began to grow near the base of her little wings too, a bright pink that wasn't the color of anything she had ever seen before, only on some certain flowers and some jungle birds, but not on other horses. But she liked it, it was different.
When coming close enough to her father and brother, she neighed again and loving as she was, she stroked her body against Cap's. Twins belonged together and she always missed him when they were apart, they were two halves of one whole, and it would always be like that.

Crane & Cap
While Crane was in the middle of the vigil speech, his words now reaching a monotone sound in his sons ears. Cap let his gaze wander, and his mind fill with imaginary birds flying the winds in the mid-day. He shook his small boney appendages, nothing growing quite yet; unlike his sister, who had started growing already. Cap looked at his Dad; suddenly perking his ears up, the neigh of his sister floating through his ears. Cap turned his body towards the sound and neighed back, his body moving forward as the sound vibrated from his body. Crane stopped his rambling and nickered when his daughter appeared. Another neigh forming in her mouth, and was quickly returned by her brother, who had now bounded over to her. Quickly nuzzling her after meeting together in a spot. Crane walked forward, a bigger smile going on his lips, seeing as he already had a smile on his lips from one of his favorite things about the islands. "Shaylee!" He said cheerfully. With the flick of his tail,he nodded his head in greeting. Remembering immediately what Shaylee must have been doing with her Mom. Learning about flight, the basics if you thought about it. But seeing as she was here now; without Shiya. She most likely got bored. "I see you got bored." He said, chuckling softly.

[style=width: 300px; height: 170px; overflow:auto; padding-right: 5px;] She raised her head to cheerfully look at her father, still while standing close to Cap, almost hugging him with her body while her little tail waves back and forth behind her happily. His words reminded her that she had wandered away from her mother, but of course, what could be expected from little foals? And besides, she didn't like being away from her brother, she was the bigger of the two, as it usually was with twins, one was smaller than the other, so she felt a need to be with him, protect him. That was also why she had started to grow a little more than Cap, she had been bigger from the beginning.
"I rather be with Cap, daddy." She said easily, her little voice all happy and jolly as she trotted over to him and nudged him gently, happy to see him again, even though it had only been a few hours since she last saw him. Even though her parents might not be a loving pair in that way, she had seen that they liked eachother, and they seemed to stay together at least, she liked that, she liked having her parents up close all the time. When she felt something sting her leg, a sandflea, she picked upp that hindleg and started to scratch it as good as she could, but she didn't exactly have much teeth to do it with. She managed though, and when she put down that leg again, she stood as tall and proud as she could, almost as she was showing off her creamy coat with those faint amber stripes The large blaze and the socks she had was almost not visible to her already light coat, and while Cap was solid, he had inherited some of their mothers diamonds.

Crane & Cap Crane knew that his daughter would rather be out with her brother than off learning the importance of flying. It was a unique trait that they had. And Crane let out a small happy sigh, and went about to scold her. "I know you would dear, but if you're Mom is teaching you something, try not to leave; Trust me, it will be important one day." He then let out a small chuckle to show she wasn't in trouble with him, he wasn't so sure about her Mother though. While Crane was contemplating about such things, Cap swung around from his sisters close contact, bringing his head under her appendages to one of her feathers, and tugged at one, not tearing it out. And then sprinted into the bones, weaving in between the ribs as his tail flung up into the air. His feet kicked up sand as he pranced; proud at his sudden act of nuisance. He hadn't had the time to ask his sister if she was proud of the feather, or scared if they were to be tugged out. So he simply nipped at them, afraid of the consequences if he did tear one out. "Can't catch me!" He thread into the air, as he raced through the bones breathlessly. Crane only shook his head with a small smile growing larger on his face. He knew that his son was quiet, and was quite happy to hear his voice reach into the air. It wasn't worrying at all. Some horses were more quiet than others, and some were... very loud. Crane swished his tail in thought as he spaced out once again.
