The grey coated buckskin fretted endlessly from the minuet he lost sight of her, to the very minuet he was standing in now. The tips of his tail were wet with a mixture of the constant rains and mud from the earth in the swampy territory he currently trekked through.
He had had two choices when this journey began: The mountains or the marsh. He was searching for his missing sister, and as he tried to wrap his brain around her thoughts he figured that she would rather escape to the adventures and danger of the mire rather then the snowy mountains just north of their home.
His mind was sick, as well as his stomach. The worry riding his heels caused him to move swiftly from equine to equine asking the same questions, and still coming up empty handed. Where did you go Audrey? Why did you leave!? Where are you! Aquila was so caught up in his emotion, he didn't realize he had screamed all of these things aloud.
