Tether ended his brisk trot into a walk as he reached an area overlooking the shoreline. The woods were... Extremely beautiful. But the Beach, It was a strange beauty in his mind. The way the rocks formed made him imagine it as a brutal stallion whose age was surpassed by his treacherous battles and wise mind. The wind blew his mane that looked somewhat chewed on. He suspected that he had some weird hair growth or something of that sort, his tail was mid length through. He moved his ears forward and back. Recently he almost decided that he wanted to go to the mountains, but decided otherwise. The cold air made him want to run all the way towards the Sand Dunes. He let his neck arch, smelling a Stallion or two, he couldn’t recall. But what led him here was the smell of mares. He could tell that there was quite a few around here somewhere. His nostrils flared as he let his neck go back to normal. He acted as if nothing had made him interested in this place. And he was only staring at the water. Water... But what if a Tsunami was threatening to breach the peace...?

[bg=090909][atrb=width,450,true][atrb=border,0,true]» He hadn't frequented the shores in days; his last visit proving to be rather stressful from the meeting of the stallion Misentuuk. The powerful waters seemed to attract those who saw themselves in comparison, saw themselves to control or compare themselves to the crashing and powerful waves. Goer would rather snort his annoyance at the same words each spoke or same actions they all exhibited and he preferred to allow them to live in their fantasy world if it did not prove bothersome to him. He cared not for the opinions of others and often ignored their own attitudes; Goer was considered stoic or unemotional with a monotone voice that left other wanting or cold--again he could only snort or roll his eyes at their expectations of him to be welcoming.
» Quiver ran down his spine as the brash wind wailed against him as if trying to knock the stallion over, lashing against him with sand and salt even as well the mild cold of water carried from the ocean. The sky above was dark and looming no doubt forewarning to another storm approaching from the mountains; he could hear the clouds clash just into the distance and taste the rain which no doubt would soon pelt down upon the forest as well making the shores a dangerous place to be. Looking across the shore he noticed a rather young looking stallion inhaling the scents around him. His mind recalled his last encounter here and told of his caution with his approach. Punching the dark and stone ground beneath him he dragged his hoof across the length slowly as if beckoning the stranger to him; he would not approach those who trespassed in his lands. This time his body quivered in anticipation.

Tether raised his head up, letting his mind wander from the tsunami thought that he had. The clouds from the mountains in the north were dark and warning those who hated storms that one was about to come to their front porch. The waves would soon rise to a high tide and flood most of the beach, and it would hardly even be safe in the spot Tether was standing at the moment. The wind whipped his chewed mane back and forth, His eyes watched the ocean with a sudden eagerness, he hadn’t been near a beach for some time since he had been spending most of his time at Lake Vesta, and he was utterly fascinated at this beach. His serious thoughts soon floated away, and childish thought filled his mind. He imagined himself running through that beach in the middle of summer, Feeling the ocean spray go across his back…. His thoughts were interrupted, when he flicked his ears behind him to hear the scraping of a hoof across the rocks. A beckoning sound indeed to his ears. Tether slowly moved his body to face one of the stallions that he had scented. He moved curiosity towards the Stallion, cautious was not a thought in his mind at the moment. He stopped in front of the Buckskin Sabino. "What's Up?" If Tether was older, he would be hitting his head against a tree for his greeting, but for now, it seemed quite normal and friendly at the moment. "My names Tether!" He said with a smile on his face. The Buckskin stallion was lucky he didn’t go into a normal rambling greeting.

[bg=090909][atrb=width,450,true][atrb=border,0,true]» Goer was surprised, shocked even at the other young stallions greeting and in that moment he felt the age gap between them grow tremendously as far is it seemed maturity went; the muscle above his left eye twitching in the human mannerism of raising his brow in question. It wasn't often his words failed him, but this strangers greeting nearly baffled him. Shaking his head as if to physically remove the stupor placed on him he eyed the other before him almost like he would his own young. "Whatare you doing out here?" His curiosity has needed to be sated, the storm was rolling in and in no way was the area safe for any equine. His ears from earlier were laid rather back upon his skull; not in anger or threat, but surprise.
» "Goer." He simply nodded his head in greeting while he stated his name, leaving off the tag of king of the forest for the time being.

Tether pondered on the words "What are you doing out here?" He let his mind wander just a bit. "I dont know really, All i know is the mountains are cold and I dont want to go up there. Besides the trees here block the wind that i felt down near the bay." He shivered with a smile as to say that it was really cold there. "Its nice to meet ya Goer" He turned his head to the beach and let the wind run through his nostrils. "Hey i guess every place has at least some wind." He said laughing a bit. He swished his tail and turned his head back towards Goer waiting for a reaction or reply of some kind.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, width: 518px; height: 476px; background-image:url(http://i44.tinypic.com/53wqbk.jpg)] He found the other stallion....surprising to say the least. His own care-free personality reminded him much of his own son who seemed to float about the forest as if he had wings and often ignored Goers' warning to stay close. His short ramble about the mountains caused his lips to twitch ever so slightly; he did not care for the cold winds and brutal winters of the mountains, but seemingly in some parts bordering them they did experience some of the wind. Gently nodding his head in an almost regal like mannerism he began to wonder Teathers' more long term plans. "Pleasure." He answered the greeting still somewhat put out by the more than friendly behavior. "Are you planning to stay out here all day?" Lifting his rather large head he raised it to-ward the sky to observe the dark, seeming almost black clouds that rolled around like gods stomping in the heavens. Faint thunder could be heard from the mountains as the storm grew nearer.
"The storm will be upon us soon and the shores are no safe place to be once here." It was a clear warning, yet not an open invitation for the other stallion to come with him; however nice or simply care-free Tether was, Goer was still wary of any new and unknown stallion in his kingdom.

The thought of staying out here all day, was of course not Tether's plan, althrough his plan orignally was to find a place to root down away from the coldness of the bay and the mountains. "No, I just came to see what it looked like, ya know, hearing stuff about this beach makes it seem so big and huge and magical as a foal. So i just wanted to get a look at it Ya-know?" He went quiet listening to the dangerous threat that Goer told him about the beach and the Weather. "I guess you are correct about that." He paused to glance at the storm clouds threatning to spill from the mountains like water trying to escape being held in his mouth. "I guess I should move on from here before I get knocked down like wobbly newborn foal." Tether didn't really know if he should start walking or wait for a kind of respond from Goer.
