[atrb=border,0,true][cs=7][bg=403f3b] Lycia lowered her head to the water, letting her mind relax to sound of rushing water. Her two tails flicked behind her; as she lifted her head, worrying that she had heard something. Was it a horse? She back-pedaled at the thought. She had left the plains for this reason; not to be bothered. Lycia had agreed with herself that she had been rather short with horses lately. Whenever Ver would approach her, she would be frustrated for no reason; and right after realizing that she was being mean, she would try to apologize. Lycia, shaking her head lightly from those thoughts, went into a small slushy covered spot; plucking grass strands lightly.
OCC: Slight warnin' Lycia is prego and mute.

My large black hoof stomped the low-grass ground. I flung my night black, humongous head into the air. My nostrils flaring, I curiously wondered how I'd gotten into this wonderful land. I danced in a pirouette, exasperatingly excited to explore this new threshold. Of course it wasn't mine, but of course I just had to meet other horses too. Suddenly, my large nostrils caught the faint scent of horse flesh. I leaped forwards, letting myself be carried towards the scent.
My lank sinister black legs carrying me towards her. My 18.3 hand frame powering quickly against the earth. My black 'feathers' weren't long, so it might've been hard to tell if I was coldblooded, but I sure was. My burly, stocky black mane was windswept behind my withers. Yes, it was that abundant. I quickly leaped over the broken down log before me, and my sinister, extremely long tail that brushed the ground when I walked or stopped.
I came to a small clearing and stopped, huffing quietly. Taking a deep breath, my ears went forward. I approached her slowly, and very carefully, so she could clearly see me. Smiling semi-kindly, my loud, sergeant-sounding voice broke the silence. "Hello dear! I'm Shujaa. And you are?"

[atrb=border,0,true][cs=7][bg=403f3b] It of course wasn't long before a horse approached; Lycia made sure to push her angry thoughts in the back of her head. She nodded lightly to his greeting when her head raised up to watch him approach. A sense of despair hit her when he asked for her name. She fought the urge to pin her ears at the mere thought of speaking. Instead of contemplating anymore, she offered an apologizing smile, her two tails flicking behind her; as if to drive off flies that weren't there. While she waiting for a response of any kind, she sized up the stallion, seeing he was quite dark. It reminded her of her Dad, only slightly; since she could see the differences varied greatly. From all the other Stallions she had met in her life so far, she could tell this one was slightly different. She'd never seen a horse with such a long mane and tail before; she took a glance at his tail a few times to check if he didn't have a mutated tail like hers that caused so much hair. She removed her eyes quickly; thinking that it might bother him. She didn't know anything about this stallion yet, and she had to be careful. If he was to be nice; she would be nice back. If he was to lash out at her, she'd show her displeasure and quickly flee. She wouldn't normally flee, but she had more of herself to take care of now. She shook her head lightly to rid herself of those thoughts, and her body then shook after her, trying to get the cold away from her warming body.
