Being silent was difficult for most of the being's Jacqueline had come in contact with. Almost everything, alive or not, had something to say at some point in their lives. Everyone has ideas and feelings. The grulla mare lowered her nose to the salty water of a small pool. She'd finished looking out at the lonely, receding ocean. The small creatures within the pool said nothing as she watched them. They all were so small, just as the mare was, and they moved extraordinarily slow. Jacqeline envied their patience. She herself found travel to be the most comforting. She'd lived on the islands all six of her years, yet she knew almost no one and absolutely no one knew her. Her mother and father had both passed or vanished across the sea.
Jacqeline was mute. She hadn't uttered so much as a sound her entire existence. No one knew her name. No one knew her story. No one knew her. It was all very sad. The little mare chose not to think about it, instead focusing on a particularly slow sea star.
ooc: start. bahaha. she's gonna prolly need some loving. RISK FIND HER A FAMILY. xD are there any available young stallions on the islands?

Risquè was in his prime- eleven years old and still living young. He was now regretting of passing down the power of lead to his son- but he himself had claimed that island at age five. He had not seen Isa for a while now and longed for her company, but she was probably off on her own for a reason. He had not yet seen Cyril since he had awarded him Kahukura, either. Had he done something to make the people he loved the most, shy away from him? The youngest- Ciervo, bounded along with Laelius, examining the giant whale skeleton. Risk approached them, nickering softly. The both turned and grinned back, "What are you two doing today?" Risk asked, brushing his maw against them lightly. 'Just exploring! Teaching Ci here some stuff,' Laelius answered, bumping her shoulder lightly against her younger brother's. 'I was thinking of taking him to Hihiri now he's a bit older,' She added on. Risk rolled the words over his mind, "That sounds fun, just make sure to be careful you too. I want both of you back, in one piece, before dark," Risk said offering a laugh and the grinned, telling him thank you and running off.
Risk meandered his way along the beach, letting the waves lap against his hocks, sea foam rolling over his hooves. His muscles moved under his pelt, the bright sun shining down upon him. A memory- Deja Vu, flooded back to him. The day he had claimed this island he had walked just like this with the sun baring down upon him, waves lapping against him. He smiled, wind picking up his creamy tresses and tossing them in the breeze. Along with the breeze came a new scent, and his audits pricked forward. He pushed himself into a trot, his neck arching slightly as he rounded the corner. The sight of a smooth blend of grullo and cream placed upon a mare met his chocolate eyes, and Risk nickered softly. He offered a smile to the mare, flicking his tail, stepping up closer and also looking down at the creatures in the tidal pools.
OOC: RISK CAN DO THAT :B, I think Scar's Lysander could start a family, or I really want to bring a new island boy here soon, as I have an idea for something >D
maybe you could help me create him? xD

Both ears moved quickly to tune in the soft whinny coming from the distance. Jacqueline didn't move. She was good at that, not moving. Her eyes, moments ago focused on the sea star, were now unfocused as she tried to hear what was coming towards her. Her stillness frightened some, mostly children, but she could tell that this beast was going to come nearer her no matter what she did.
With a step away from the pool she pulled her grulla head up and placed it delicately to the side so that she could see the stallion with both eyes. He was painted white, just as she was, although his markings were not as crisp as hers. His coat bore some of the same grey hues hers did, as well. He was smiling and his pace was not meant as a threatening one. She could not smell him however, for she was upwind. Jacqueline hadn't lost any senses, but being mute had made her grow up using some of them more then others. She really wished she could scent this stallion. If she could she would surely know who he was or at least where about he was from.
As he finished his approach, he looked down into the pool he'd drawn her attention away from. How odd. She thought to herself. Pull me away from my studies and then go straight into them. Her inner voice was always proper and formal. Being mute was a pain, but then again, she could say anything and everything, and no one would have a clue. Jacqueline looked down into the pool again. The star hadn't moved to much farther.
ooc: bleck. BUT I WOULD LOVE TO HELP YOU!
