Dufresne lofted himself up upon his ledge, flicking his tail and belting out. He lowered himself, dangling his front leg over the edge and watching the small rocks tumble down and bounce off the other rocks. He closed his eyes, dozing in and out of reality. Images of the big cat-like mare flashed before him, her soft bell-like voice ringing in his ears. He snapped his eyes open, shaking the image out. This was very unlike him to remember someone so invaluable to him. He pinned his ears, scowling at the thought that she was still lingering in his mind. His stomach rumbled happily, full of the meal he had just ate. He yawned, flashing his fangs and blinking hazily. The fangs in his mouth rubbed against his cheek and he shifted the position of his mouth, careful not to pierce the skin inside his mouth. He quickly raised himself and pawed the snow, shaking his extra hair that caused his neck and armpits to be warmer then the rest. His white fleck coat blended in with the snow, except that it was spring now. He flicked his ears back, blue eyes narrowed in haste as he scanned the mountain side for.. no. Not her. He was denying it. Or at least trying. Dresdin trekked through the light layer of snow, flicking it up behind him as he made his way down from his ledge, sliding along and spraying the snow up around him. His wide blue eyes scanned the forest where he had met her, his thoughts lingering as flashbacks of her played through his mind. He shook his head, snorting and watching the steam escape his nares.

Taisie had lived her normal life, alone, up in the mountains, as usual. She had had not other contact with the outside world except that one stallion a year ago. He had been weird, and it had only been a brief meeting, barely worth remembering. She would rather forget the possibility of those horns piercing her. She was afraid of him, she could admit that, mostly because she was very sure that he would hurt her, or even kill her, if he saw her again. With a ligt shake on her head, she made her long mane and forelock dance in the shine of the spring sun. Here in the mountains there was still snow, and it was there where she walked, her coat fitting in amongst the snow and the litte visible tips of black rocks around. her coat fit in perfectly in this enviroment, like a snow leopard should. The only hitch was that she was a horse, not a predator, but most would say that, mostly because of her resemblence of the big cat, and the fact that she had feline fangs. She never used them though, she had no desire for flesh or blood.
Her slow trot through the snow sent the snow flying around her, but for once, she felt and looked confident in herself. But she wouldn't have if she had seen that big stallion up on the perch, as she passed right under his nose. These lands were the home of snow leopard, some bears and maybe some cougars, but thanks to her coat, she often didn't strike any of them as "food" since she looked like a big predator, and she could flash those fangs whenever she wanted.
