What made him decide to cross over to Hihri he did not know. All he was aware of was the memory of the best night of his life. Their lovemaking had left him at a loss for words. Never before had he felt so close to another in both body and soul. Yet the idea of being a dad left him a little torn. He was delighted since Ilona would with any luck have her wish of being a mother should the foal be healthy...and besides the idea of having fathered a child with his soul mate warmed his heart. There were the risks though...would the gods curse them once more with a child who could not survive? Would Ilona be once more shattered by having to birth a dead foal or a weak one who would die? Such thoughts besieged his mind as his hooves trekked across the island carrying him to Tukutuku. The sound of the cascading tons of water drew him from his thoughts his mind turning instead to the scene before him strides ceasing to exist in the process. It was awing sight even though it was not the biggest of waterfalls. None the less it was still a beautiful sight to behold. Maybe he would have to bring Ilona here after the birth to spend some quality time together once their son or daughter was old enough to fend for themselves for a little while.

Heavy with pregnancy, Ilona had followed Dante, on a distance of course, so that he wouldn't notice her. She was growing bored of always being left at the herd and she was joyeous about the whole situation, because she had a really good feeling about this foal. It would live, it would be strong, she could feel it in her bones, and in it's little kicks that she felt sometimes. With a flicker of her tail, she saw in a distance how Dante stopped by the waterfall, but she continued to walk towards him, but quietly, she knew these lands better than him, and he seemed almost deefened by the sound of the waterfall, so she could easily walk up beside him.
"So this is were you go when you leave me at home?" Her voice was teasing, yet a little serious. He had become so protective över her now that she was pregnant, and she wasn't sure she liked it. She could barely walk anywhere without him saying that she should be careful. her belly wasn't as big as it was going to get, but it was still visible that she was pregnant, but her coat gleemed in wellness, she was feeling great.
