This place, where she had been born and grown up on, would always have a place in her heart. She was just about half a year old, but she was changing rapidly from the little filly she had once been. She was growing and feathers had start to appear on her appendages, and she had already realized that they were like the wings of a bird. She wasn't sure that she would be able to fly, but she had seen the chicks of many birds on this island, and followed them from chicks to birds trying to fly for the first time. It looked so fun, and she wanted to try, but alas, it seemed to take longer for her to develop her wings, than for birds. Sad, but true. Since the day she had been born, she had been a bundle of joy and hapiness, always with a smile on her face, wanting to go on adventures and experience new stuff. Her father often sent Pit with her on her little travels around the island, and even though both her father and mother seemed concerned about her, she never gave them a reason to be afraid that she would do somthing reckless. She didn't want to loose their trust, she would hade to be kept from exploring. It would be like trapping a wild bird in a cage, cruel and disgusting. Also, ever since she had met that strange stallion, when she had been very young, just a week or so, he had continued to roam this island ever so frequently, it almost never went a day without her seeing him in some way, and he always looked at her with... Well, she didn't know what kind of look it was. She didn't know love or imprinting. She loved her parents, but that was something else, so she was oblivious to whatever he was feeling, and he had yet to tell her what it was. He had been awfully quiet to her since she had pricked herself on one of his fish-like spines that he had a little everywhere on his body it seemed. Weird things.
Walking along the beach, with the almost white sand moving under her light hooves, she flickered her white tipped ears back and forth, and she snorted slightly at the scent of sea, salt and washed up seaweed. The day was boring as freakin' hell so far, couldn't anything exciting be happening soon? She wanted something to do, she didn't even have Pit or Cyril to play with today. She was all alone. Just when she had left that thought, she saw a dark creature further ahead on the beach. The tide was low at this time of the day, so it must be some washed up sea creature, one that she had never seen before. As she moved a little closer, curious to what it was, eyeing it's dark grey... skin? She couldn't see it moving, or breathing, so she thought it was dead, but she walked around it, with plenty of space between her and the.. thing. The stream-like shape, the fins.. She had never seen anything like it before, and she didn't know it was a shark, something her parents had warned her for. But how would she be able to know what a shark was, when she had never seen one before? And it seemed to be dead, so what did it matter? She stood for a while, looking at it, making sure it wasn't alive, she even nickered towards it, seeing if it would take any notice of her, but alas, it stayed still where it lay.
Since she figured it was safe, she walked up to it, a little hesitative at first, but soon enough she stretched out her nose, taking in the scent of it. What was this? It looked nothing like the fishes she used to chase around in the waterfalls, or the little pools of water that was left around the cliffs when the tide was low. This was.. so much bigger. She didn't know it was an 8 feet long Mako shark, she was just curious to what it was, and that's why she smelled it, touched it with her muzzle. Oh, if she had just known... She was about to poke it with her leg, just touching it a little harder to see if that grey skin would break or something, and then everything happened so fast that she didn't even know how it happened, but the shark became conscious of her presence, and in a blink of an eye, it opened it's large black eyes and twisted it's large body, opened that large mouth, full of teeth.. She felt it like she was staring into that mouth full of teeth for ages before it close around her left front leg, the one closest to it's mouth... The pain and fear shot through her like a liquid fire-bullet. It was like nothing she had ever experienced before. The pain was so sharp, so unbending that she almost lost her consciousness right there and then. She let out a painful scream, higher and more frightful than anything she had ever uttered before. She tossed her head and tried to get loose, but the grip on her legs was too hard, and if she moved just a bit, the pain almost made it go black before her eyes. The shark seemed to have lost almost all power it had though, not biting down on her leg, and not twisting around, it just blinked at her, and desperatly tried to breath. The black eyes had something grey in them, a sign that it was dying, that it was weak, and that was lucky for her, because otherwise she would have lost her legs by now, or had it so damaged that she would probably never been able to walk again. But it just held it's grasp of her leg, and she couldn't even move, the fear of the pain and the fear of getting more hurt if she moved, made her still, but she was shaking as she stood, and she could feel her heart almost beating it's way out of her chest. Sheer panic made her that still, panic and fear, otherwise she had probably tried to get loose, and that would be a bad thing, since the shark still had it's mouth tightly around her foreleg. But she felt that her body was trembling, and she would not be able to stand for much longer. Her gaze had become black of panic, she saw nothing but the shark and the blood trickling down from her leg, to the sharks mouth and sand.
She wasn't aware of the fact that she was screaming the whole time this was happening. Screaming her heart out in sheer pain and distress. It was heartbreaking to hear her, a soul who had been so happy before, being so frightened she almost lost her mind.
(Open for whoever who wants to, and multiple may join, but I guess, it's more fun for those who know her, to join xD)

There was no one in sight, but Cy was still worried his father might see him. But why would he care? Cy plunged into the luke warm water, dousing his pelt as he broke through the surface, flicking his soaked forelock out of his bicolored eyes. He had been held off of traveling to Hihiri today, been distracted by siblings. Toothless, his half-brother who wasn't normal. At all. Yeah, Cy had his own oddities, but nothing like Tooth. He powered himself at a good pace, kicking his long, well developed legs. His muscles had filled in and he wasn't so lanky anymore, he was quite the handsome young man. He grinned to himself, the sound of being a young man felt nice. The land of Hihiri was approaching, and soon enough he was pulling himself out of the water, shaking his whole body. His spines flapped before he tucked them down, perking his ears forward. He wanted to talk to Mahina again today, he hadn't much since the incident, and he was still absolutely horrified that had happened.
Cy set off in a slow trot, arching his powerful neck. His daggers kneaded into the sand, pushing and pulling through the thick, dense grounding. He worked his way to the waterfall, his eyes scanning for her small black form, yet they didn't find her. He tossed his cranium, working his way back to the beach when he heard it. A blood curdling scream, so high pitched and wavering with fear, and he knew who it was. His mouth dry and his blood seemed to turn to jelly. His legs were flying underneath him, a blur, barely purchasing with the ground before they were in the air again. His spines were cutting open his legs in the tangle of their movement, and he was running through thorns and branches that slashed his pelt, but he didn't care. He broke through to the beach and turned sharply, the heartbreaking scream ringing in his ears. She was soon in view, her leg disappearing into the large grey shark's mouth. He almost passed out then and there, seeing the sight of her like that. His own body was slashed and his legs bloody and cut up. He pulled the power away from his running, rearing up and bleating with anger. His sharp flits dug smoothly into the shark's side, slicing through the rubber-like skin. It was almost dead anyways, but Cy didn't care, he was going to finish off the thing that hurt his Mahina. He pulled out, blood staining his hooves as he lodged them deep into the shark again, this time into it's head, cracking it's skull and exposing everything else. The shark fell limp, it's life gone. Cy gently pulled it off her leg and then yanked it away, still pounding the form angrily, his eyes stinging with tears as he looked at Mahina, who was still managing to stand. Her little body shook tremors, her eyes wide with fear. Cy rushed up to her, pulling her down and letting her lay across his form, careful to avoid his spines. He ran his maw across her neck, trying to comfort her. "Mahina, darling, you have to stay awake. I'm so sorry Mahina, I should've been there, I know it hurts, just please stay awake." Cy said, tears forming in his eyes as he looked around, he needed to get her to stop bleeding.
OOC: Aw cy is gonna hate himself D:

Kiva stood in the middle of a forest in Kakuhura; his mouth chewing on the grass he has just plucked from the earth. He hadn't seen much of Pit lately. Mainly because he had sent the Sparrow off to watch Mahina. It meant Kiva could spent more time With Coralie. And it made him happy. He was with Coralie; and he knew if anything happened to Mahina; Pit would come racing back. Because he had made sure to tell the Sparrow that all hell would break loose if anything happened to her. The Stallion didn’t look at many mares much anymore. His flirting seemingly gone from him. So he passed his time by grazing; if nothing else came up of course. Occasionally he would go and explore. But not much; since he knew most of the island now a ’days. Kiva lifted his head up, flicking his ears back and forth; finding the tweet of birds coming in through his ears. It was almost spring now; and the sounds of the birds trying to find early mates was clearly imminent. The stallion sighed, snorting through his nose as he lifted his legs up; walking at a slow pace as he looked around the seeming waterless island. He was always in need of finding water on this island. It had rained quite a bit this winter. So it would seem that there should be rivets I the rocks that have water in them. “If its water you’re looking for Friend, there’s a rock with a rivet in it that’s right behind you’re bum.”Kiva spun around; seeing Pit flapping his wings near the water. “You’re getting feathers into the water you idiot.” The stallion said this as he rushed over to it; lapping up the cold water. Pit chirped loudly as he laughed at him. Kiva’s head picked up quickly; as a high pitched sound wafted through his ears. It was a voice; he was quite sure. Pit stopped chirping also. “That sounds strange, shall we check it out?”Kiva shook his mane, and picked up a trot. Pit flying up to Kiva; his feet planting at the beginning of his forelock. The sound was quite loud; and it only interested Kiva even more. It was then that his eyes went wide as he found the voice of Mahina in it. The Stallion picked up a full blown run, Pit hunkering down in between the ears of the now scared Stallion. What happened to her? Did she get caught in the surf? Did she explore some rocks while the tide was out and got stranded? Did she fall? So many thoughts went through his head; yet so little time. “Slow down! You’re making me cling for my life!”Kiva didn’t exactly listen, and the mere words to start a conversation made him go faster. The beach flew past him, and the various rocks that he didn’t care to avoid; he simply hopped over them. The scream grew louder and louder. Until it stopped. There was no use being quiet himself. Kiva neighed loudly; his voice desperate for an answer. His voice continued until it went into a nicker. He had slowed down on a beach he recognized as Hihiri. And he neighed again. “Mahina!”Turning his head, so he could see the area his blind eye had blocked him. It was Mahina, with a certain heir. Kiva pushed back his anger from his first meeting of the heir; who had grown from him last seeing him. He rushed over, running his muzzle over Mahina’s face. His skin feeling her soft breathing. He then noticed her leg. The blood oozing from it. He only glanced over at a bloody form on the beach that must have caused this. It was obvious what form used to be. The marks on her leg were that of a sharks. The Stallion snorted. A wave of fear running through his body. “Mahina, stay down. Don’t try and move at all, Moving will make the blood flow faster.”He let out a shaky breath. Pit flapped his wings, and landed near the fillies face. Watching her. “Boy.” Kiva said to the young Stallion. “Do you have a healer? Any healing abilities? Do you know what a Nettle plant is? It’s a pointed green plant. I suggest you get it now. There’s no sense leaving her alone.” His words seemed broken, and rushed. Nervousness growing in his voice. But he calmed it down quickly not to scare her. The Stallion lowered his head, nickering softly to her. Her tremors very noticeable. “You’re okay, you’ll be fine. It’s going to fine.” He said; nuzzling her neck softly.
OCC: A Nettle Plant is a tropical plant that stops bleeding when its turne into a liquid of some sort. I studied

She was too scared, too chocked, to even be aware of the fact that something got her loose from the creature, and laid her down against a body. It was just black before her eyes, and at most, she could se something blurry move at slowmotion. She couldn't hear much, just the beat of her own heart, and she could feel that pulse go out through her leg, and the blood didn't come back from there, not much. She wasn't realizing that she was actually bleeding so much. She was just a little shaking body that was almost unconsious. She didn't see that it was Cyril that had saved her, or that her father came, and started to talk with Cyril. Everything was just a soundless blurr to her, and she blinked slowly, feeling her heartbeats, feeling her breath getting coarser as her body grew colder when the blood left her body. It wasn't a deadly wound, but it could be if the flow of the blood wasn't stopped, and her tiny body was already feeling it..
(I'm saying that Coralie comes around now too, and tries to help Cyril find that plant and such, but I won't write with her xD She's basically panicking about her daughter but tries to calm herself and fins that plant)
