Iris Iris hadn't had much of a tolerance for snow, in fact; it was quite a nuisance now. At first, it was a sight to behold. A beautiful thing to play in also. Now she had believed she had caught herself a cold. The mare had come to the Boondocks to enjoy the heat, but not that of the Desert. It was comforting to have some heat upon her back. It didn't exactly feel the same of the islands. But it was alright for now. She looked at the hill she was upon. Little and few strands of grass growing from the dirt. Iris yawned, shaking her body. And sneezing from her nose as she flicked her ears back and forth, trying to catch any sounds that might pike her intrest.

Dufresne didn't often find strangers roaming his peaks.
The mare was not quite the most welcome of sights to the stallion. He was a loner. Others would come and go and there Dufresne would remain, silent and stealthy. That is, unless he was provoked. He could approach her and snap, telling her to leave this place - it was not for her. Though, she wasn't hurting anything. The Moorlands remained as they had before she'd shown her face.
The ram-like stallion rested silent today on a lower rock, his frame lying upon the stone face as he looked to the stranger. She was pretty, as they all were.
OOC: SO sorry for the wait!!!

Iris The mare sighed, finding her ties to the islands being severed. It wouldn't be long until she was like a lost puppy running towards the ocean with a heart beating a mile a minute. Iris shook her head, and used the hill she stood on as an advantage at the moment. Through her wanderings, she'd met few horses. Not so many like her siblings. She didn't think a horse could top off the wings or the fish like spines of her brother. The mare let her eyes wander before she let the thought of taking off latch into her mind. She was glad that she had at least glassed the surroundings, because the horns of something came into view, at first she merely disregarded it as a goat of some kind, but then she looked closer; seeing the body of a horse He was also looking at her. She took this as a better time than any to approach him. The mare, whinnied out to the Stallion. Picking up a trot to him; her skunk tail lifting up into the air. "Why hello there!" She nickered softly, bringing her head down a bit. She couldnt help but wince at the way her voice sounded, it was most likely not going to sound at all like his. Her's was directly taken from the islands, and would most likely stay that way. "My name is Iris; Tis a pleasure to meet you."The mare lifted her head up, looking at the horns resting upon his head. Wow, that must be such a bother to carry such a weight around on you're head. But I suppose it would come in handy to protecting yourself, she thought to herself. she quickly tried to take the thought from her mind, finding it rude to even think about such a thing.
