[style=margin-left: 15px;] [style=height:200px; width:420px; margin-left: 25px; margin-right: 10px; margin-top: 2px; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 2px; text-align: left; overflow: auto;] What had she gotten herself into? She had felt so shy in front of that stallion a while ago, and now she was going to have his foal. She had started to like him, that was why she had given in to the lust of letting him cover her. Strangely enough, she had liked being pregnant, watching her stomach grow as the foal got bigger. She wasn't that concerned about how she would care for the foal really, even though she was herdless and lived around the edges of the big islands, and on Hihiri. There wasn't exactly a lack of food and water here, and it could easily support her and a foal, and Kiva if he decided to stay with them, which she hoped that he would. It would be like their own little family, sort of. Even though she wasn't sure if she had that kind of feelings for Kiva, she sure did feel that she liked him, quite alot at that, so it would be interesting to see his face when he saw their little daughter or son, whatever gender their little one was.
But then again, now when the contractions had started, she asked herself what she had gotten herself into. She could never have imagined that it would hurt this much. It almost got her to her knees every time. She was currently walking away from Kiva and from the waterfall, just to get some privacy. She didn't want Kiva to see her struggling like this, because she knew that she probably looked like a mess, big belly and all. Coralie decided for herself to settle down slightly above the beach, protected by rocks on three side, and the other side was open to the beach and sea. The moon stood high in the sky, and she saw it quite fitting, her own eyes had the same dark blue color as the sky, now when it closed in to midnight. The birth took her hours, hours of pain and disbelief that she wouldn't make it. But she did, and allt hose hours was suddenly worth it, when she first laid eyes on the little one laying on the ground beside her when she finally came up on her feet again. The creature laying on the grassy ground was black and white, like herself, little white on all four feet, a white stripe reaching from one of the coronets and up over her shoulder and to her neck, making a part of the little mane white. Her first instincts kicked in, and she started to clean the little one, soon discovering that it was a filly, and as she ruffled and clean the fillys coat, she noticed that the white lacing on its head and back were glowing white, like moonlight. Tiny midnight blue eyes blinked up at her, and Cora felt her heart melt completely. Another thing that she soon discovered, which startled her, was that something wasn't normal with the fillys back. A pair of black appandages stuck out of her shoulders, like wings on a newborn chick. She blinked for a few moments, not knowing what to do at the oddly looking things on her daughter, but she soon confronted herself with the wuestion; did it really matter? Did it matter if her daughter was this mutated? The answer was simple; No. So she continued cleaning, and about ten minutes later, the filly tried to stand up on her wobbly legs, and Cora just gave her a nudge here and there, to get the filly in the right direction, but otherwise, the little black filly had to do this herself.
After a few attempts of tripping over, falling down again, she finally stood up, legs wide apart, trying to hold the balance, and she snorted briefly, stubborn even as a newborn. Soon enough she got her legs straightened up, and could look around, searching for something that could still this strange feeling in her stomach. She started searching her mommy for it, and finally found something that smelled good, and she startled to suckle, feeling the warmth of the food filling her belly. She wasn't aware of it, but her fuzzy little cottontail started to wiggle like a happy puppy's.

Kiva had made amends to Pit soon after meeting Cora. But he didn’t really like him to be around when he would speak to Cora. Which was just about always. The stallion shook his head, grazing around in the forest in the middle of the night. He'd been quite attached to her, well who wouldn’t be? He'd covered her, and the effect from doing so was obvious. She'd grown round, full of Kiva's first child. Kiva saw how big she was getting, and he made sure to wake up at least once a night to check on her. And tonight she wasn’t there. He'd followed her scent, finding it pace not far from where they had bedded down. The excitement running though his veins was incomparable. He felt it a sense of pride already coming through. What would his child look like? Would it be a boy? Oh! Maybe a girl? He picked up his head, and heard the gentle flap of wings from Pit, reaching his ears and landing gently between them. “Have you seen any trace of her?” “Yep, I saw some hoof prints on the beach. I saw her getting up in the middle of the night too.”Kiva snorted. “Stalking the lass I like. That’s just sad, go and find some pretty lass swallow somewhere.” The bird snorted, throwing a tweet of disgust in the air too. “Sorry for being snappy Pit.” Kiva said, starting to walk. “Which beach again?” Pit rolled his eyes, tweeting the direction of the beach. Kiva was almost going into a prance when he reached the beach. It was no wonder he would be nervous, he was about to meet his own flesh and blood! He hadn’t met his own blood in years! And never has he had any children, the anticipation was killing him. He was busy sniffing out her scent and thinking about his first born, that he almost didn’t hear the tweet of Pit. “There’s something glowing.” “Yeah, uh-huh.” He replied, his head almost in the sand like an ostrich. “Wait... what?” It was only moments later that Kiva was cantering towards the light. And stopped suddenly; seeing Cora and a little foal already on her feet, and... glowing... With strange appendages draped on her body. He couldn't believe it, he'd had a child, a child! Kiva's face lit up in happiness. And a childness grew into his bones. "Is it a boy? Or a girl?" He ducked his head down to see the gender of the foal." Oh! Does the pretty lass have a name yet? Oh! All the lad's are going to go after her for those pretty glowy marking things!" He said in a hurry; static at his newborn daughter. With all this movement, Pit had fallen off Kiva's head, and was staring up at the newborn. His eyes huge at the new child in the world, and to think! Out of his own friend this young lass was from!

[style=margin-left: 15px;] [style=height:200px; width:420px; margin-left: 25px; margin-right: 10px; margin-top: 2px; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 2px; text-align: left; overflow: auto;] The sudden array of sounds that reached the little fillys ears made her turn around and stumble on her own long legs. Somehow she managed to stay on her feet, but that was just barely, and she stared up at the big shape that was standing in front of her, her dark blue eyes wide of surprise. She hadn't been aware that there were other creatures in this new, strange world, other than her and her mom. She was a little scared, but mostly amazed, and she stared at the red stallion. She didn't know what he was saying, she didn't understand a thing, but a lot of sounds came out of his mouth, and even though she tried to understand, she could not make anything out of it. Soon enough she noticed something down at the ground, and she turned her head down towards it, seeing that it was a small creature that was peering at her. Since her head had some lacing it on, that was glowing, creating a hollow, diamond shape at her head, she had no problem seeing the little creature, since the white glow cast a faint light at it. Curiously she mad some nickering sounds and reched her tiny muzzle out and breathed in the scent of that small creature, that she didn't know was a bird. Beside the white lacing on her face, she had a white snip, and the skin was pink and rosy underneath that silky, silky coat. Her whole body was gracefully built, and delicate, even her little head, with that tiny muzzle. She didn't realize that as she was scenting the bird, and then looked up at the stallion again, she was moving the appendages on her back, a little like a newborn chick would do. They had they shape of wings, just without feathers. At the moment they had the sofest, downy touch one could imagine, small downy feathers covering some parts of the wings, were the real feathers would grow in later.
She looked at them both, and then at her mommy, before taking a few steps towards the stallion, and she pulled her head out and breathed in his scent too, that was about one of the things that she did understand, scents were good. She was a little wobbly still, but with every step she got more and more balanced.
Cora looked at Kiva, smiling as he seemed to be so happy about their little daughter, just as she was. She was happy that it was alive and healthy, and she couldn't have imagined a prettier daughter for them, even though the appendages and the glowy markings were a bit odd. But what he said, about the glowy markings, gave her the idea of a name that would fit perfectly. "Mahina. Her name will be Mahina.. It means moonlight." It sure was a fitting name, since that glow had the same beautiful light as the moon. A little godess of the moon.

The mere mention of his daughters name sent him into a burst of happiness. He started a sentence in his native tongue. and then stopped. Letting himself not speak it again so Cora could understand him. "Its wonderful! She's so beautiful.." He stopped, seeing her take steps towards him, and taking in his scent. This made Kiva calm down... a little bit. And he tucked his head, and softly touched her small little mane, taking in her scent. She was so small, He never remembered any of the foals in his herd this small when they were born. "Hey there little Mahina." He said with a fondness. Nuzzling her. Pit stared up at the young foal, not really sure where to land at the moment. He couldn’t land on Kiva; in-between his ears. He'd most likely brush him off without the little daughter of his without noticing or something of the sort. Pit shook his head, flying onto a small rock. OCC: Ehh, the muse is draining -.-
