These two were no fun at all, they barely even reacted to him. It was a surprise for him to learn that the mare was this black stags daughter though. They didn't really resemble each other, but he supposed it made sense. As the stallion told Ver to stand down once more he sighed," It's not like I can drag this out anymore. Very well, I stand down." A look of disgust crossed his face as he turned around and began to walk away, grumbling something about them not playing right.
(sorry this is so crappy, I just can't think of anything else for him to do)

Caiaphas stood still watching the larger stallion retreat without much more then a grumble. Any stallion, and especially one with as little experience as Caiaphas, would take this as a blessing. Still, the black father couldn't help but feel this wasn't right at all. Caiaphas bit his tongue, watching the retreat of the stallion. He half expected the red beast to turn and charge him, but none of this happened. He just kept walking away, weaving through the trees.
Caiaphas looked to Lycia, suddenly wondering if he'd made the wrong choice throwing out the ill tempered stud. This father business was extremely conflicting. My respect goes with you stallion. He finally called out, his gaze not leaving Lycia's graying face. He dipped his head in the direction of the disappearing red body that had seemingly just entered their lives.
