•The Cheif: The Alpha, the 'main' stallion. Pretty self-explanitory
•The Cheiftess: The alpha's 'main' mate, and his most respected mare, carefully picked
•The Heir: The first born son of the Chief and the Chieftess- or the first born son of the Chief and one of his wives, if his royal wife and him don't end up with a son
•The Advisor/Spy: A secretive herd member, spies on what needs to be found out, also helps advise others (sometimes alongside 'The Golden One'), doesn't trust a lot (but full trust in Chief)
•The Most Trusted: The second-in-command. The Beta. He takes the Chief's place when he is out doing what he does. This equine may be asked to go 'scout' for other equines who would join the herd
•The Apprentice: The 'Most Trusted''s mare, or just the second-in-command mare. The Beta mare. She will also help with the herd when the Cheiftess is gone or any help is needed.
•The Golden One: The shaman, healer, caretaker, 'mother' of the herd. Usually a mare and never shown disrespect
•The Warriors: Any stallion of the herd, they will work to protect the others and are considered warriors
•The Wives: Any mare of the herd, the Chief's mares and they will not be shown disrespect without punishment.
•The Children: Any foals produced from the Chief and the Wifes or the Protectors and the Wifes
