LANDRY. Bright blue eyes gleamed upon his homeland as it came into sight. He'd smelled the familiar, earthy scent of the hanging moss for hours and now it was finally there. There truly was no better snack after a long journey and now that he had Minexi with him, he couldn't wait to share it and many other new things with her. Poor thing would probably need some help reaching the best moss anyway.
The pale-but-hale stallion walked slowly into the wetter lands he knew so well, looking around him with a smile so wide that it could only be Yacarian. He stopped walking after only just having stepped over the border, basking in the light of his swamp home. Though winter had fallen over the land, the gracious Mother had not hit Yacare too hard and there wasn't too much snow around and by now all of the gators were in the deep sleep. It was a perfect time to show his new partner around.
HOSTETLER. Nowhere else could a king be so blessed, thought the bulkier-than-normal stallion as he surveyed his mares and their lovely new ones and those on-the-way. Family was everything and Hoss knew he was surely one of the most successful kings in that area in the entire Homeland. The herd had gathered nearer to the border than usual, but it didn't worry Hoss. There hadn't been trouble in or around Yacare in a long time. Nothing to be afraid of.
A strange scent past his face, his nostrils taking in every aspect. A trained tracker through the Yacarian jumble that was the swamp's many smells, Hostetler immediately recognized one bit but the other, not so much. Half was Landry! How long had it been? The stallion's expression brightened as he imagined reuniting with his older half-brother. The two considered each other full-fledged brothers most of the time, despite their different mothers. Hoss took one last look at his herd before agreeing that those present could stand a moment without him and turned to prance toward the scent he so eagerly sought the origin of.
OOC: I didn't remember if you wanted to include anyone other than Mini; feel free to!

She didn't know what she had expected when coming to his homelands, the swamps, but it wasn't this beautiful landscape. For some reason it felt like home just by looking at it, and everything was home as long as Landry was there. During their little journey she had come to love him, she'd fallen his personality, his way of treating her, his accent, those blue eyes.. And now she was going to have their foal. It wasn't noticeable yet, not much, but she could feel it, and on her little, slender body, which was still filling in the winter coat, the pregnancy would show fast, if you couldn't already see it, it had just been a few months. As Landry walked in on the area, over the border, so did she, and even though she was a whole 2 hands shorter than him, it wasn't hard to see that they had been in eachothers company for quite some time, and as they walked she reached and nipped lovingly and soft at his mane, not to get attention, but simply because she liked to, and because she loved him. Her big, gentle teddybear.
"It's a lovely home. I hope your brother doesn't mind me staying here with you, I would be sad to leave."
( I will probably just have Minexi, but I might join up with Nova ^^ )

LANDRY. The small mare behind him gave Landry a sense of belonging. He belonged in her presence and she in his. How the quiet stallion did without the yellow, black, and white female boggled his mind. He turned his head to see her; she was beautiful as ever. She even glowed today. It seemed the perfect time to meet up with Hostetler. He could see no scenario where they would not be welcomed here.
Smiling, Landry slowed a bit to walk side-by-side with his love. He'd told her he loved her but he never felt like it was enough. Minexi deserved the very best. Why she settled for a quaint, quiet swampper like Landry would never begin to make sense to him. He leaned in an nipped at her withers a bit in response to her silvery words. He said nothing in reassurance, only lent her a smile almost as wide as Hostetler's could be. How silly to think he'd have her leave. Minexi had never experienced Landry's brother. In all honesty he was a bit worried she'd swoon. Hoss had gotten most of the personality Yacarians were so well-known for. He was loud, kind, exciting, and inviting. In different lands, Landry felt he well-represented his homeland but Hosteter - Hoss took the cake. Landry looked forward again, the familiar but well-missed scent of his brother wafting through his nose. He probably had children and mares now too.
The blue eyes of the father-to-be brightened as his tri-colored brother stomped into view.
HOSTETLER. Hoss' tracking skills had paid off yet again!
The muscled stallion wasted no time searching for his brother. It didn't take long either. His coat gleamed in the sun that shone through the bare cypress tree canopies as he moved, lending its energy to his cause. A pale yellow equine came into view, walking toward him at a slower pace, a beauty at his side.
Was this Landry? He looked so much older than before! Hoss' big brother had always been a friend to him and now he stood tall and proud like the stallion he was. Hostetler's signature smile flashed the two as he slowed down, a loud and welcoming whinny escaping his pink lips as he rose in a rear. He regained some composure as he landed back on his four hooves, his bright, bi-colored eyes jumping from his brother to his company. The mare was tiny to be sure, but garçon was she pretty!
"Landry, mon frère! Où êtes-vous comme ça?!" Hoss could not help but speak his native tongue as he exclaimed his happiness at seeing his brother again. "Et qui est cette belle beauté?" he asked as he eyed the mare beside him, looking her up and down with a sweet smile that could never house ill intentions. His joy at seeing them could never be doubted.
OOC: Hoss first exclaimation: "Landry, my brother! Where have you been?" Second: "And who is this lovely beauty?"

Maybe he couldn't understand why she loved him, but she had told him that she loved him, because he just was himself, he was Landry, her own swamp prince. Even though he didn't want to really admit that he actually was a prince, but in some ways he was, but she liked him no matter what. He was the only one who had been so kind to her, and being able to read her like an open book. Sometimes, when she was cold and he stood to shelter her, she wondered if he could read her mind, because it was rare for her to actually show that she was freezing or something like that, unlike that day at the River Cognar.
As he slowed down to walk beside her, nipping at her withers, she nudged him with her muzzle slightly, before another stallion came into view a bit further away. He was a chimeric, like she was. Taller than her, but smaller than Landry. Was this Landrys brother? He certainly seemed quite happy. But when they two met up, she stood at Landrys side, tiny as she were, and she didn't understand a thing from their language, except from Landrys name of course and the word "belle", because that was a word Landry had used before, so she knew whatit meant, but the rest was just a blurr. But she let them have their chat, they would be introduced sooner or later, and she had patience.

LANDRY. Landry's eyes narrowed as his smile widened at the sight of Hostetler approaching. The stallion seemed ecstatic to see him - just as the isabella palomino had assumed he would be. He wasn't sure why but in his mind reuniting with Hoss would look a lot like it did now, except in his head Hoss had an innumerable amount of mares and foals behind him. He'd always wanted to keep their swamp heritage alive. Landry had always been proud of his little brother for that.
Hostetler's words came at Landry like a tornado. It had been so long since he'd truly spoken in the native tongue. Sure he'd thrown this and that word around but never only that. He blinked a few times as he registered his words, his blue gaze focusing on Hoss' pink nose as he spoke and then looking to his eyes. Boy Landry sure picked the short straw when it came to colors.
"C'est Minexi, mon compagnon," he said, by default much quieter than the shorter stallion. Taking a glance at his partner, Landry considered her. Mini didn't know their words. Any more of the tongue and it could be considered rude. Wouldn't want that in the swamps of Yacare. "Mind iffin' we speak like awl de odders? She don' know et." Landry smiled at Mini and looked back to his brother.
HOSTETLER. "A'course! Whut wuz Ah thinkin'? Ah mus' apologize thoroughleh, sha!" Hoss scolded himself a little for the last word.
"Jou two tugeddah? Das mahvelous, Landry! Why you not visit sooneh?" Hoss exclaimed, tossing his head a little and turning around to face inward of the swamp. He gestured forward for them to walk with him toward the Safehouse. Noting the veritable height difference present between the two yellow horses, Hoss could hardly contain himself. Oh what their father would've given to see them now, each with families of their own.
