Victoria & Galadriel It was just as old times had been. Victoria, the rough and tough snake tongued mare was dragging her beautifully proportioned sister up the mountain by her silver colored mane. This is important Driel. Don't lag behind. Her voice was harsh, but the carried a warmer tone the usual for Victoria, although unwilling to admit it, felt obliged to care for the pale mare. Dreil's mother left her shortly after birth and the palomino had grown up at Victoria's mother's side. The least she could do was make sure she was alive.
Why don't you just call him? I mean don't all stallions just love the sound of your cold hearted voice. I'd come running to it. Galadriel dragged her hooves, slowly ascending the mountain to the fields. Oh wait. You don't like stallions. A fairy like laugh floated out of the pale mare's chest. Why, again, are we going to find him if you don't like men? Her brow furrowed as she thought. It was a fair question.
Because I, my dear, am a queen.
ooc: dawww vics got a soft spot for driel. guess you learn something new everyday. xD

Food was a necessary evil, not something to be coveted as so many did; of course, the Great Mother was to be thanked before every intake. The pale stallion stood today with his teeth down to the blades of green below, eyes closed as he silently thanked his deity for the rare patch of green left in the mostly orange and red scenery around him. To be a glutton was to be a sinner. Annas swallowed as he considered the state of his hunger - had it been eased appropriately? One bite more than was necessary would result in a swift whip or two of his thinning tail to his bare, ribbed barrel. As he assessed, Annas found himself cut off at the scent of a somewhat familiar horse - Victoria.
Annas had briefly brought up the subject of her to Caiaphas recently, but made sure not to ask too much. He wanted her to make her own impression on him. Was she to be trusted? It would be too easy to hear it from Caiaphas. He wanted to see it for himself. And yet, today he also smelled another. He raised his head, his mouth thinning into a line and his amber eyes almost drooping as they narrowed. Small champagne-hued ears pointed toward the origin of the sounds, his head staying still. They would approach soon and find the stallion standing perfectly still, statuesque as he normally was.
OOC: SORRY THIS SO LATE.

Victoria & Galadriel Driel was confused by her sister often and had learned to ignore the mares brutal and down right psychotic tendencies. The pale palomino mare ducked her head as her sister spoke and pushed forward up the slight incline, quickly passing Victoria and reaching the point where her delicate head could see over the horizon.
Don't go off wandering Galadriel. Came the darkened voice just bellow the dividing line of earth and sky.
He's pale? Galadriel shot back, her hoofprints stuck still to the ground. And weird. The palomino's ears went back in a defensive position, waiting for her sister's response. The stallion in the distance fit that description; he was extremely weird.
Hush. Victoria's steps quickly approached Dreil and passed her without a second glance. The black mare approached the stallion head on, her nose leading the way and her posture giving nothing away. Galadriel watched for a few moments, but before Victoria's approach was completed, the pale mare let out a high pitched note and galloped off towards the pare.
Annas! She called out, all of her childish glee coming to the surface. This was not a stallion who would take kindly to sensuality, and therefore, Dreil left that side of her personality locked inside. She came extremely close to him with her first passing, and quickly rounded back to stand by Victoria, who had now closed the gap between herself and the strange stallion.
She flicked her pinked skin nose up as she came to rest her hip touching Victoria's, creating an extreme contrast between sisters. Hello. She piped up, eyeing him closely as she felt her sister's tension raise.
ooc: mah -flails- two characters with this much personality need to talk a lottt. XD

An unfamiliar mare raced past him, calling his name as he relocated himself a bound to the side to evade her touch, his amber eyes flaring with anger at having to do so. He let out a high, roaring whinny as he moved quickly, turning all of his attention on the offending animal as she settled herself back beside Victoria, who had apparently been following the horrid beast. Who did this abominable beast think she was, throwing herself in his direction upon first meeting? How could a... sensible mare like Victoria associate with such a clown? Annas cringed at the thought of a mare being 'sensible'. In comparison with the yellow female, she certainly was. Victoria's presence at least explained the other one knowing his name. His narrowed, fiery amber eyes flitted back and forth between the mares, his nostrils a bit flared and his clean teeth slightly bared. Annas hated to be thrown for a loop and these two certainly had done the job. As the heaving stallion began to compose himself, he stood taller and his ears alternated back and forth in order to establish the situation before him.
"Who is this that barrels past like a chased cervine with a broken leg?" his voice was heavy and deliberate, pointed at Victoria. He blamed her for this other one's behavior, perhaps only because he had assumed she'd know better than to test Annas' patience. Surely Caiaphas had said something to his sister about his irritability and lack of patience for those lesser than he. In all honesty one would be hard-pressed to find someone Annas did not have fault with. Even Caiaphas had his ill qualities.

Galadriel dismissed Annas' attitude with a flick of her silver mane before Victoria had a chance to answer the angry stallion. Name's Galadriel, honey. But I suppose you could call me Driel. Her eyes shifted to rest upon his body before returning to his hard, anger filled eyes. Victoria had sure picked a winner.
The black mare had be subject to Driel's social habits since she was little, and although this meeting was different, the darker of the sisters aloud the other to get everything out of her system before she even considered butting in and taking over. The mare's silver colored tail flipped over Victoria's rump briefly, testing the mare's patients but nonetheless just making sure she was still there.
So I hear you're of some importance deary. Care to share your wealth with us pretty young sirens? Or I suppose my sister has already gotten to you, or perhaps Caiaphas? The familiar family smile crept across her face as her thoughts turned wicked. She'd not be able to keep all of her feminine flirtation inside.
ooc: mah. fail but y know.

Annas was baffled by the display before him - one calm, like-minded mare and another wild, flirtatious sinner who seemingly could not distinguish the appropriate from the inappropriate. It was an unbearable combination.
Again, Caiaphas was mentioned. Never had the bald stallion known of his black partner's associations with the opposite sex, sister or otherwise. Annas had had enough of this one's "antics". He did not find them funny; he found nothing funny. He took a pointed, quick, and powerful step toward her in an effort to shut her up, his amber eyes focused entirely on hers. He intended not to stray from her gaze until she straightened up and gave him the proper respect he deserved as a superior sex, though he knew the attempt was futile. He let a few moments pass before speaking.
"Your chosen style of greeting reflects that of your sex: dark and ill-meaning. I would not speak in such a way if I were you," he said simply, intending for his heavy, syllabic speech to speak for itself. This temptress would feel the Mother's rage in death, he was sure of it. Still, Victoria's involvement sent him into a state of light confusion. His gaze jumped quickly to her's, his perpetual scowl glued on as usual.

Victoria finally stepped in as she saw Annas' position in the matter was heating up. She'd not let her sister, younger or not, interfere with her purpose here. Forgive her Annas', for she is not a skilled in the ways of being social with someone of your standard. Her voice was as dark and cold as usual, filled with the matters of business that could wait no longer. The pale mare bit her tongue, stepping back and retreating into the spectators point of view. She would not disrespect the mare that had cared for her when no one else would. Still, as she hung back in the shadows, Driel eyed the equally pale stallion with a certain intensity she was sure would burn his skin.
Annas. I expect you should have some sort of knowledge towards the reason I am here again. She watched him carefully. Testing out his mood as she knew it had become sour as she allowed Driel to speak. Annas, I seek the royal position of these mountains. They are my home and the thrown is rightfully mine. You are a deeply respected beast in these lands and as I see it our partnership could be questioned by no one. She came right out with it, not as a question but as a statement of fact. She was not fooling around today. Galadriel's stare moved from black to yellow and back, confused and silent as the meeting went on.
EDIT: ooc: she says Annas too much in this thread

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,500,true][atrb=height,375,true][atrb=float,left,true][cs=2][atrb=style, background:url(http://i44.tinypic.com/250m592.png); padding: 5px; border: 0px solid #ffffff;] Annas' eyes shot to Victoria as she apologized for her sister's behavior. He would have a hard time with her sister, he could tell that much. That was, if they were planning on remaining in the mountains. Victoria's next words made it clear that they were.
Victoria had plans of becoming queen. It was honorable for a horse to have ambition, even if she was a mare. Caiaphas' sisters were quite different: one with the brains and one with the beauty. In all honesty the duo reminded him of Caiaphas and himself. Wasn't it only right that if Annas were to ever take a mate, it would be with a queen after he'd taken power as king? The thought was delicious - almost too much so. Assessing her proposal, Annas' face showed no sign of emotion, his eyes looking only at her's. It was true that not many in the area would question his reign. Annas had always been power-hungry but never willing to admit it to the Great Mother.
After a good long moment of silence, Annas replied: "You speak plainly. I will take it under consideration."
By now he'd nearly forgotten the other one.
OOC: Reallllllly lame. I think we're done here though.
