Sage stood knee deep in a pool steamy water. Her nose touching the water in a lazy way with her neck arched. She'd taken off from pushing her daughter. For it was winter, she could lose all of her stamina, and could grow cold. Sage lifted her head from the water to look at her daughter She was enjoying herself, rolling all around in the warm water. She had grown up fast. and was closing in on Sages own height. "Lycia, make sure you stand by the hot springs after you get out, so you don't freeze to death." Lycia nodded, her winter coat dripping with water. She quickly hurried off, splashing the water with her nose. She smiled at the playfulness that she was displaying today, usually she was reserved and quiet. But today she was enjoying herself like a foal should be. Sage tucked her head back, relaxing her body, for raising a foal that couldn't speak had taken its toll.
Lycia splashed the water with her nose, smiling. She hadn't had the time before to visit the hot spring, and it was a great comfort in the middle of the hard winter. Snow still fell on top of the hot springs, but the steam mostly melted it into a sort of rain. The filly had been running away in a sneaky way from her mother more and more often that usual. It made her think that the time of her leaving these mountains would be getting closer and closer. She just couldn't wait. But when she met others... how would they know her name? How would they even know how she's feeling? She didn't want to use body language like that one mare said. She just wanted to talk. Lycia layed down into the warm water, her two tails floating on top of the water.
