She was very aware of the fact that she had walked into Kahukura territory, but she didn't think the leader would mind, she wasn't any threat to him in anyways, or to his herd. Even though she had no plans of joining any herd again for a while, she still had a close eye to both of the herds, just watching them from a distance, so she was aware of all the rumors about the new heirs and mares and drama. Little birds had chirped in her ears. Walked around the Ngohi Shallows, she took a good look in every little pool that she walked past, just to see if there were any interesting things in there, but she had yet to see anything that could catch her attention.
She wasn't hard to spot, even though it was quite the early morning yet, and not bright sunlight, she was easy to see walking around the pools. Her blue roan coat with white and black mane and tail, and white markings along with the darker zebra stripes. Although one of her most noticeable features was the golden eyes, like molten gold melted into her eyes, with some faint fleck of blue in them. But she was very gentle, and it showed in her eyes.

He blinked a few times, trying to rid himself of the leftover sleep. He didn't see anyone around, had they gotten up already? He raised his form, glancing around before shaking his bodice. He raised his spines, flaring them out and stretching them before laying them down again. He shook his forelock, flicking his ears back listening to soft birdsong. A small smile flickered across his maw and he took a step forward, wondering if it was early enough to still catch sight of the creatures in the tide pools. He pranced forward, stretching and pulling at his muscles, getting ready for another long day. He trotted out of the forest, his mind flashing a memory of the bloody scene he had come up upon a few days ago. It scared him, what had happen here? He shook his head, turning onto the beach and dropping his head near the ground, inhaling the scent of the salty air as he picked up into a canter, puffing his white chest forward. His horns were starting to grow back behind his ears, and it surprised him, what was planned for him? He was nearly 6 months old, getting closer and closer to the time where he would have his own legendary vigil.
Cy turned off the beach, slowing and approaching the tide pools. His bicolored eyes spotted a new form, a slender blue roan mare, with zebra stripes at her hindquarters and neck. He gave her a small smile as he approached. "Mōrena," Cy said, nodding to her. "They're beautiful, aren't they?" Cy asked, slowing as he approached the mare. He had not seen this mare before, but she did not smell of the mainland, which was good.

Shy as the cat she was named after, she grew a little hesitant when she heard the voice of another, a young colt at thatl. She wasn't oblivious at who he was, but she chose not to take any certain actions towards him. He might be a prince, but he was not her prince, even though she had walked into his fathers territory. It was not hard to recognize the prince of Kahukura, with his spines, horns and bicolored eyes, and that marking on his chest. His greeting was a bit surprising though, as she had expected to hear him arrogant, since that was the rumors about him. "They truly are, little one. I remember sneaking off her when I was your age, to bathe in them and chase all the little creatures I could find."
Just the though of it made her smile, but she was still a bit stiff, her instincts told her to runaway, as she didn't know how to really handle the fact that she was shy and a little awkward among others. She was socially awkward, for most of the times, because she was so shy of others. No one knew why she had become like that, no one had known that she would be like the mountain cat that she had been named after, but those golde eyes almost looked like cat eyes sometimes, when she felt cornered. Right now, she didn't, that was why she was.. calmer, with a more gentle touch in her eyes and voice.

I remember sneaking off her when I was your age, to bathe in them and chase all the little creatures I could find.' She said softly, though her body was tense. He took a step back, not wanting her to feel dangered. He nodded, looking down at the closest tide pool and watching all the small creatures move. Sea urchins, star fish, coral, fish, crabs, etc. etc. He dipped his right foreleg into the water, watching a sea cucumber come out of hiding and touch the small shiny hoof. A small laugh escaped Cyril's mouth, and he pulled his hoof out, watching the long thing skimmy back to it's hiding spot.
"How long have you lived on the islands? I've never seen you before" Cy asked curiously, looking at her out of the corner of his eye.
