Mimieux
Early this morning she had felt the first strikes of gentle pain through her body, mostly around her stomach. During the day it had only gotten worse, as Chandresh had been out scouting his new area, she had been forced to handle it alone, without support, and that was very frightening, she had never given birth before. She had no mares or friends to rely on or tell her fears. She had been so scared.. So scared.. She had wanted Chan to be there so badly, she had called out his name with her harsh voice, the voice showing every ounce of pain she had been in, but she knew that he couldn't have heard her, but she had done it anyways. Late at night, just after the sun had set, she had seen the daughter she had given birth to. A wonderful baby girl with lots of white on her, despite her parents being so black. She was beautiful though, and she loved her daughter at the first sight, no questions asked.
As she was able to get up on her feet again, she started to lick her daughter clean, before nudging her to stand up. It had been a hard day, but it was worth it, everything was worth it when she saw her daughter. She had never imagined that this was how it would be to have foals of her own, but she loved it, eaven though it was cold outside, she had found the protection of a pinetree where the branches was wide and hung like a roof down to the ground, just high enough for her to stand in, big enough for her, the baby and maybe Chandresh if he showed up. As the branches reached almost to the ground, it kept the warmth here inside, but she needed to get the filly up from the earthy, grassy ground she had been born on. It wasn't safe to be here for much longer than a few hours, hungry wolves and foxes would be attracted to the smell of blood, but she had to wait for Chan, she needed the protection, the foal needed the protection.

CHANDRESH & DAENERYS The first breath that the filly drew was cold and it shocked her blue eyes wide open. In the dim light, a strange, pale blue glow was cast over the petite angles of her tiny face. Less than a minute old and already the brown-splotched filly was different. In the shadowy shelter that her mother had found, her blue eyes - inherited from her father - glowed softly. However, as odd as it was, it was rather pretty, and the filly didn't even seem to notice. But, then again, at less-than-a-minute old, she wasn't aware that she was different. She was more focused on the sensation within her belly that was driving her to find the muscles in her tiny legs and bring herself to stand. Her mother's tongue warmed her body and got her blood flowing, it also urged her to stand. The first time she tried this, her legs buckled beneath her and she collapsed in a heap on the cold ground.
The second time the babe had more success, although her steps were tentative as though she didn't exactly trust her legs to hold her up. She managed to totter her way to her mother without falling again, and her instincts kicked in. The feeling in her belly was hunger and this black mare, her mother, was the one who would feed her.
Meanwhile, Chandresh was taking in the lay of the land. He had quickly discovered that the place was completely devoid of equine life, except for himself and Mimi. He had hated to leave her behind, but it was impossible for her to join him in this trek accross the land. What if he encountered the cougar that he had scented around a group of trees? She wouldn't be able to run from it. Even the thought was making him nervous, so the swarthy stallion was glad that he was making his way back to where he had last left her, safely hidden in a copse of trees. However, as he neared this area Chandresh picked up several scents that he didn't recognize at first. After a moment they clicked, however, and he realized that, while he was gone, Mimieux had gone into labour.
Cursing under his breath the stallion broke into a flat out run, his nostrils flaring in his eagerness to reach the mare and her newborn. He found them quickly, nearly falling over himself when he came to a halt, and stuck his head inside the curtain of pine boughs that sheltered the duo. Snorting softly he studied his daughter - daughter!? - who was, surprisingly, mostly white with splotches of brown and even smaller patches of black. And glowing eyes. "What's wrong with her?" He asked, startled.

Mimieux
The sensation of being a mother, just realizing that she had actually become one, completely filled her up as she watched her daughter and licked while the little was suckling. She made sure the little splotched filly was all clean and dry before she could actually take in the appearence of the little one. The loudness of all that white was a surprise, and even the few splotches of brown that she had, had only a few black spots in it, so it was a weird sight indeed, but what really caught her attention was the blue eyes. It was Chan's eyes, blue as the sky itself, but these one was glowing. It was strange, but she didn't love the filly any less for that, it was just part of the foals unique looks. It was something that she had created together with Chandresh, and it was healthy despite being born in the midst of winter, so she prized the little life even more. A completely healthy foal born during winter, it was quite rare, so she was happy with this blessing.
When she heard the sound of hooves closing in, she was hoping it was Chan, not some random horse that had snuck into the territory. It was him. Soon he poked his head in through the curtain of the trees branches, and she met his gaze happily where she stood, nuzzling their babe over the white and brown silky coat, with the little tail waving from side to side while she was suckling, a sign that the little one was actually getting milk and was filling her stomach. Although the stallions question didn't surprise her, she had also been wondering what was up with those blue eyes, she just smiled at him, reaching out her muzzle to be able to stroke him with it, she wanted to touch him, feel the safety of him being near her, being near them. "There's nothing wrong.. She seems to be able to see well, I think she's just.. unique. But she's beautiful Chan.. And she stood up so quickly." She said, her voice filled with love and warmth, both towards the foal, but to him too. Yes, she loved them both, she loved Chan, even though she hadn't confessed it yet. "Our beautiful little daughter"
