Dante I have no heart, I'm cold inside His question drew her attention to him again. He couldn't decide whether it was a good thing or not. Did he detect some surprise? Maybe but that probing gaze of hers gave him little room to consider it. Swallowing he shifted slightly torn between looking away or keeping his gaze fixated on her dark eyes. If she hadn't have chosen the moment to speak then he probably would have ended tearing his gaze away. Relief stirred faintly at the thought of her staying for a while longer causing a frown to form ever so slightly as he struggled to make sense of such a reaction without accepting the facts. For a moment he gaze tore away from her coming to rest on the red tinted water. Was this chief more to her? Jealousy caused the question to form before he could stop it and again he did his best to banish the unexpected reaction. He only managed to reduce it enough to a quiet protest in the back of his mind.
"Maybe you should just go back now then." He did his best not to snap it out at her but he couldn't keep the entire bitterness his confused emotions added to it out. His mostly ebony head turning he gave her a ghost of a smile an apologetic glimmer in his eyes. "Will I see you again Ilona?" The question slipped out before he could help it a cursed edge of hope to it. For some reason he wanted to see her again although such a feeling left him feeling a little uneasy. For once though he didn't give a damn right now about what his gut said. He wouldn't be surprised if she never wanted to see him again though. After all he had been nothing but a jerk to her.

She just shook her head at him when he started to get moody again, moody for nothing. She didn't even know what he had reacted to, but he had no reason for it, no reason that she knew of at least. Even though she felt glued to him, she couldn't imagine that he felt like that to her. "You don't understand. I'm just one of the mares in the herd, he's not my mate or anything, but he will be mad if I'm gone, I don't know what he'll do." She wasn't afraid of Risquè, but she really didn't know what he'd do if he found her with another stallion, even though nothing was happening. She was just a herd mare, not his mate, not pregnant with his foal, she was not his anything, but she currently needed the safety of the herd, the company. She, just like her sister, was driven by the need of being close to others, even if it was just one individual. The fact that she was this drawn to Dante puzzled her, more than she could ever imagine, and she didn't know what it meant.
"You probably will.. I will be wandering about these parts the coming days... If you're still here, you will probably see me." She smiled at him, an honest, big smile, and she flickered her auds a little, listening to the birds and little animals around them as they made their noises. She did intend to wander about these parts the coming days, because this had been where she used to live, sort of, before she had joined Risquè, so she missed it a little bit and wanted to discover all thise hideouts, caves and whatnot, once again. She would do this even if he wasn't her to meet her again, but she knew in her heart that she definetly wanted to meet him at least once more before he set off to the mainland, probably to never come back.

Dante I have no heart, I'm cold inside He had never expected her to explain her relationship with this lead of hers but for some reason she chose to give him one anyway. Jealousy subsided quickly relief taking its place at the revelation that her lead was not her mate. Someone else could be instead of course but at least he could knock one stallion of the list. The idea that this lead stallion would possibly harm her angered him a streak of possessiveness running through him. "Go then. I don't want to get you into trouble Ilona." An unusual warmth entered his voice slightly eyes softening a little in the process. He would hate to see her punished for something that was his fault.
He was pleased to hear that she would be around. Tomorrow he would make sure to keep a look out for her for he was not ready to say goodbye to her yet. She gave him one of those big angelic smiles again and after some hesitation he for once gave her a genuine smile back even if it was small. "Then I will see you around Ilona."

She could barely make herself leaving, barely makes those hooves moving, but she did, she started to walk past him, just stopping enough to nudge him a little on his black neck. "It have been a pleasure to meet you Dante." She smiled again, and tried to bear the thought of not meeting him again. Because even if she would be here tomorrow and the next day, maybe they would go around eachother. She hoped she would meet him again, but who knows? Maybe this was the last time she could see his face, so she took a good look at it. Who would have thought that such a moody stallion like him, finally would lighten up a bit, to give her that smile? She liked it.
When she had said good bye, she trotted off, her soft steps dampened by the soft ground. Even though she didn't want to go, she had to, for the sake of her own freedom. She didn't want to be grounded to the herd grounds, she liked wandering around like this.
