So for those of us who have trouble keeping track of how old our characters are, I've developed a system that I think it pretty darn fool-proof once you get the hang of it. Actually, I based it off of an attempt of Strider's back on TLH to keep track of everyone's charries' ages. Sadly that got to be too much, so it was taken down. I hope these five steps will help y'all keep track of your own!!
STEP ONE: Open a Word document or something of the kind.
STEP TWO: Set it up like I have here: Link! Use your charries instead of mine. <3 They should be listed under the day of the week that they were created on. I'll explain the numbers and stuff in the following steps.
STEP THREE: List next to each character the age he or she was created at. (i.e.: When Philomena was created, she was five years old.)
STEP FOUR: The next part's the hard part. Now you have to determine how old your character is now since you've created him/her. Since every season is two weeks long and there are four of them, that means that each IC year is eight weeks in real life. SO, as you see in that link, I've set it up so that after the age they were created at, it lists how old they are now and how many weeks they are into getting another year older. I'll use Djali as an example: Link! So, now do that for all your charries! Remember, once the fraction next to the age becomes (8/8), they're a year older!
STEP FIVE: Just make sure that everyday you go to whatever day it is and add one to each character under that day's age fraction. (i.e.: Refer back to this. Say it's this next friday, I'll be like, "Yay! It's friday! I'm gonna make Hoss' fraction (2/8), Sutton's (6/8), and Djali's (6/8)!")
I know this may be a little confusing, but once you get it, you'll be set!! If you have any questions, don't hesitate to PM me!
