Idea? Your thoughts, please!

Okay, so I know that nobody has really purchased anything from the store as of yet but as I was derping around with the dice rolls the other day (I do that when I'm bored... ^^ I came to the sad realization that when someone does buy an Enhancer, those Hoofprints are essentially lost.

Which then got little ol' Strider a-thinkin'... What if there was a way that we could keep those Hoofprints on the market instead of just losing them? It seems a shame that all those posts/Hoofprints would go to waste.

Cue the lightbulb above my head.

I want to get the feedback from you guys but what if all the Hoofprints spent at the Store are credited to the Mother Nature account? That account will only be used for dice rolls and other important stuff like that, so it will gain money every time a foal is generated. At the end of each month, we could hold a lottery and whoever wins gets Nature's Hoofprints! That way, the Hoofprints are never truly lost, are put to good use, and it is another small bonus way to earn huge sums of 'em!

Any sort of feedback would be nice. :3

i like it, but how would people enter the raffle? buy tickets? simply put everyone's name in? this doesn't work if people are inactive, though just post saying you'd like your name entered?

I would make a thread in the contest section for the month's drawing. People who post in that thread would be entered in the drawing and a dice roll would decide the top three, who I would split the Hoofprints between!

I think this is a good idea!
The only question that I have about it is whether people that haven't bought anything from the store are able to enter the lottery. I mean, say Hattie buys her mutated character, then Snow buys things for a foal from the store but I don't buy anything (aka I haven't put any Hoofprints into the lottery), can I still enter it for a chance to win Hoofprints I haven't invested unlike Hattie and Snow who have put Hoofprints into the pot? Or will only those that have bought things be able to go for the lottery?

Well...hm. I don't think someone should get something without doing any work-like investing in it. So I think only people who have either advertized-because it helps the site-or bought something from the store (maybe in that time period? Since the advert thing is there...) would be able to join. What do you think?

i like this a lot! sounds like fun and a good idea to keep hoofprints from going to waste. i'd prefer the idea of anyone being able to enter, though. that way those who don't have as many hoofprints or are saving up or just don't want to buy something every time there's a lottery have a chance!

My only thing with allowing only people who have purchased to be entered in the lottery is that the same people are going to be getting Hoofprints over and over and over. The idea about the lottery is to make it available for everyone so that you can, ya know, hit the jackpot!
